Thorogood's 6-inch, quick release, soft toe chelsea style DURABLE FULL-GRAIN BLACK LEATHER BOOTS are lightweight and certified ASTM F2413-18 puncture-resistant slip on boots for men and women designed for work. These boots feature a THORO-FLEX TRACTION OUTSOLE made with work boot TPU mini lugs to provide flexibility and traction on flat, slick surfaces, with a translucent bottom for scuff-free work. They meet ASTM F2913 Slip Test Standards and are ELECTRICAL HAZARD RESISTANCE, keeping feet protected and meeting ASTM 2892-18 EH Resistance Test Standards.

The boots have a REMOVABLE SINGLE-DENSITY COMFORT INSOLE made with strategic concentrations of polyurethane under heel and ball strike zones to absorb impacts and wick away moisture. The DIRECT ATTACH CONSTRUCTION allows the secure binding of the outsole at formation, giving Thorogood station boots their lightweight durability and flexibility. The brand has a rich history dating back to 1892 when Albert H. Weinbrenner, at the age of 27, opened a cobblery in Milwaukee with partner, Joseph Peffer, serving "Jobbing" trades. Over the decades, Weinbrenner/Thorogood has evolved, becoming a major contributor of boots to the U.S. Army in WWI, introducing the iconic Hike n' Camp boot in 1964, and transitioning to employee ownership through an ESOP in 2000.
